On Thursday, June 23, 2016, at the William J. Harrison Education Center, STAR hosted a professional development session for St. Louis-area professionals who work with reentry communities. The panel discussion featured representatives from:  Corizon Health, Family Court of St. Louis County, MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries, Missouri Department of Corrections, and the United States District Court Eastern District of Missouri. The panelists offered insights on the challenges youth face in the reentry process. Circuit Judge Jimmie Edwards, founder of Innovative Concept Academy, provided an overview of the youth reentry field.
