The Soul Fisher Ministries and UMSL are teaming up to host the AGAPE Reentry Program Successful Second Chances Employer Panel. This free event will take place on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. at St. Louis Community College Florissant Valley. As we continue to focus on the almost 7 million people impacted by the criminal justice system, opportunities like this give reentry professionals the chance to look for ways local communities can embrace this population. Missouri State Senator Jamilah Nasheed will give a keynote on the benefits of livable wages and share the win-win behind hiring justice-involved individuals. Participants will also get the chance to hear from justice-involved individuals who have defied the odds of success in spite of having felony convictions and from employers who gave them a chance.
